Showcasing the complexity and regional nuances of Malaysian cuisine, Mambow goes far beyond the buzzwords often associated with it. Honouring Abby’s Chinese-Malaysian heritage, the dishes are rooted in tradition but interpreted through a contemporary lens, using the finest British and Malaysian ingredients.
We’ve supported Abby throughout her journey to becoming one of London's hottest chefs - from the launch of her Peckham market stall to opening her first bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Clapton. Since then, Mambow has received a Bib Gourmand, Abby has graced the cover of OFM, and the restaurant was named the #1 restaurant in London at the 2024 Time Out Restaurant Awards.
